CHAMPs - Sunday Celebration

Ministry Description

CHAMPs Sunday Celebration Ministry serves kids from birth - 6th grade. Sunday Celebration is our primary worship service to that age group. The format consist of teaching a provided lesson using various types of media and enhancing the lesson using songs, crafts, and games. We are currently running three classrooms: AA [birth - 3yrs.], AAA [3 yrs/potty-trained - 5 yrs.], and the Dugout [1st grade - 6th grade].

Interests & Skills:
A love of children in any one or all above age groups.
Teaching or assisting in the classrooms.

Spiritual Gifts:
Any of the following: Helps, Hospitality, Encouragement, Heart for kids

Opportunities to Serve

Sundays: 9:30 a.m. [during 1st service]. Coaches assist the lead teacher.
Sundays: 11:00 a.m. [during 2nd service]. Coaches assist the lead teacher.
Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of services.

Vacation Bible School

Saddle Ridge Ranch is a place where kids can ask questions and discover the answers found in God’s Word.  During their day at the ranch, kids will visit Worship Rally Valley and the Bible Study Bunkhouse.  Around the ranch they will also experience:

·         Crafts at Blazing Star Stables

·         Missions at Firefly Cavern

·         Music at Campfire Creek

·         Recreation at Mustang Mountain

·         Snacks at the Big Sky Grill

FBC’s campus will provide the backdrop for an amazing week of VBS, with some surprises thrown in for the students.
