We’re all on a journey of spiritual growth. Connecting with people at FBC by becoming a member is a great step that means you are becoming a part of our spiritual family.

Why do we need a spiritual family?

We all need healthy relationships.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV) "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the one who falls and has no one to help him up!"

We all need a place to use our gifts.

1 Timothy 4:14 (NKJV) "Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you…”

We all need a place to grow.

Acts 2:42 (NLT) "They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord’s Supper and in prayer.”

We all need to belong to something bigger than ourselves.

Romans 12:4-5 (NIV) "Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
