101 - Discovering Church Membership
If you are interested in joining First Baptist Church of Rancho Cucamonga or would like more information about us, then this is the class for you. You will enjoy discovering the story of FBC, our purpose, strategy and beliefs.
Here you will discover answers to questions such as:
• What has God done for us?
• Why do we exist as a church?
• How do we fulfill our purpose?
• When and where do we fulfill our purpose?
It is our desire to provide you with information that will assist you in making a decision about church membership. At the end of the class you will be given an opportunity to join FBC.
In addition to membership classes, we provide quality care for your child (birth through 6th grade) while you attend Membership Class 101.
Class 201
Class 201
201 - Discovering Spiritual Maturity
Contrary to popular belief, spiritual maturity is far more than merely having Bible knowledge. It's a way of life! In Class 201, we learn how to develop habits of spiritual discipline in our lives which build our faith and prayer life, increase our understanding of God's word, and get us connected with other Christians. Whether you are a brand new believer or have been a Christian for years, this class is for you. We also have Programs for Birth through 6th Grade children during the Class 201.
Class 101 is a prerequisite for Class 201.
In Class 201, the following subjects are taught in depth:
Discipleship
What does it really mean?
Scripture memorization and meditation
Learn to study the Bible on your own
Scripture application
Where the rubber meets the road
Developing a "DQT" Daily Quiet Time
Spending time in God's word daily.
Prayer
How do I really get my prayers answered?
Tithing
Learn how to give back to God with a cheerful heart!
Fellowship
Connecting with others in small group Bible study

301 - Discovering My Ministry
God has a unique purpose for your life and there is a special area of service that will allow you to fulfill that purpose. We are committed to helping you find a ministry that best matches the distinct way that God made you, (your S.H.A.P.E.). When you serve in a ministry based on your S.H.A.P.E, you will be fulfilled and play a major role in helping touch thousands of lives.
What God made me to BE determines what He intends for me to DO. I will understand the purpose I was created for when I understand the kind of person I am or how I am S.H.A.P.E.d.

• A.bilities What natural talents and skills do I have?
• P.ersonality Where does my personality suit me to serve?
• E.xperiences What experiences have I had in life?
By reviewing and studying these factors we can discover the unique way God intends for us to serve Him.
