H.O.P.E. Pantry

HOPE Pantry is a ministry that helps provide food on the FIRST and THIRD Saturday of each month to families in need. There are no requirements to meet, we give out food until our supply is depleted. The Pantry opens at 7:00 am and usually ends around 9:00 am. The Pantry team meets the Friday before to pack boxes. All who are interested are welcome to come and help pack boxes, and/or, pass out food on Saturday mornings. 


WOMEN'S MINISTRY

The Women's Ministry exists to encourage women to continued growth in their personal relationship with God. To assist them in understanding their God-given gifts and ministry and to enable them to share their “Good News” with others.

Key verse: Esther 4:14 says, “…who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this…” (AMP)


Prayer: “I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and how long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love of Christ and to know this love surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.”


The Women's Ministry  meets the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 am at FBC.  No meeting June and July 2019.

HEALTH MINISTRY

The Health Ministry strives to educate and promote the health of the FBC family in all areas of their lives. We provide education towards both physical and spiritual needs, as well as connecting them to resources within our congregation, community and available health care systems.

GRIEF MINISTRY

The goal of the Grief Ministry is to be a source of support and comfort after a loss to our FBC family and our community. The ministry provides educational and emotional support, as well as connecting those who have suffered a loss with resources in our local community, (support groups/therapy).

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

The mission of Operation Christmas child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. They provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.


Every November, Samaritans Purse takes up a shoebox collection! FBC participates by offering empty shoeboxes to church members, to fill up and bring back. Or you can donate items for the packing party. We keep an eye out throughout the year for bulk sales on new items that can be used. The previous three years, FBC has hosted a packing party where 200+ boxes are filled. You can check out the official website for suggestions and year-round packing ideas.

YOUNG AT HEART

Welcome to the Young At Heart Senior Ministry. We meet the second Wednesday of each month to enjoy fellowship and “bring a dish to share” lunch. All seniors are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun. Informational speakers are invited to speak on occasion on such topics as Estate Planning, Health Care, etc. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Created for Kids ages 4 through 6th grade! Filled with fun, music, activities, amazing Bible stories, and creative learning experi- ences! Sign up now at The Community Center to have your child join in the fun on Wednesday evening!

B-SIDE YOUTH

B-SiDE youth group meets Tuesday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm. B-SiDE growth group meets Sunday mornings at 9:30am. B-SiDE is for 7th - 12th grade students.
